At Colin & Co our director Ria is a fully qualified trainer and behaviourist with over 7 years experience. Ria offers 1-1 training and behaviour consults, she will tailor her services to every dogs and clients’ needs, making sure that your dog gets the most out of every session.

Aggression Training
Types of behaviour include lunging towards dogs/people/objects whilst on the lead, growling and aggressive barking towards other dogs, people, objects ie moving cars or skateboards, biting, resource guarding (taking an object and guarding it, growling and snapping or biting anyone coming near), fearful aggression (biting because of fear), being territorial.

Puppy Training
A puppy consult for 50 mins which will be a phone call session before the arrival of your puppy discussing what to expect, beginning the training and more.

Pre Puppy – includes making the house safe, going through equipment, answering any questions you have about owning a puppy or a dog, especially if this is your first puppy, going through feeding and toilet schedule, what to expect, setting up the garden and going through any poisonous plants, breed history, setting expectations, creating rules and boundaries, going through some basic canine body language and canine nutrition.

Zero to Hero puppy package
Covering the basic obedience and good manners to achieve a happy, confident and calm dog.
We will cover Sit, Stay, Wait, Recall, Lead walking, Leave it, Drop it, Lie down, toilet training, more detailed canine nutrition, desensitisation (going in the car, loud noises, going to the vets, grooming, cleaning eyes, teeth, nails, ears, amongst other things), impulse & self-control, more in depth canine body language, dog socialisation, park etiquette, more information on dog equipment as well as some fun tricks.
Some puppies take longer to understand the new things we teach which is why we offer the blocks of training with a discount.

Should you need just hourly one to one sessions, the hourly rate is £110.
Behavioural consultations
This is more like a therapy session. Here we go into the client’s life in a lot of detail as well as the dog’s to get a better understanding of the problems. These can be deep rooted traumas, which is very common in rescue dogs. We take a look at the dog’s environment at home, their routine, their food, their breed history and look at what we can do to diagnose the dog’s problem behaviours.
We like to use a healthy balance of homeopathic remedies as well as working alongside our Vet, Johnny Irish at Kensington Veterinary Care. This can be quite overwhelming for clients, we feel a lot of emotions in these consultations which is why we take our time with the client and their dog, and often there is a follow up.
4 hours at £550 – £170 p/h thereafter
