Our tailored day care service is extremely useful for people who work full time or simply cannot stay with their dog for the day. Whether it is on a regular or ad-hoc basis, we are happy to have your dog come and join us to spend the day.

While we want to be as flexible as we can and always try to accommodate last minute bookings, regular days and booking in advance is preferred.

We do offer walks as an additional service but be quick to book them as we do get fully booked very quickly.

Your pups are collected in our fully heated and air-conditioned vans which are kitted out inside to be the safest and comfiest way to travel. They are then chauffeured to our day care retreat, only 35 minutes from west London. Once they arrive, we have everything ready for them to have the best fun-filled day possible, including agility, a spa, Wendy houses, a ‘Zen zone’ with lavender oil diffuser and a dog Spotify playlist, obstacle courses, a dog pub sand/ball pits and swimming pools in the summer. Not to mention the incredible chill out areas for pups who want to relax for a bit with fabulous state of the art outdoor bedding.

We are not a daycare that spends their days standing about in a field. We have activities every hour that include hide and seek, treat hunts, football, sports day, snuffle mats, arts and crafts, treat catching, frisbees, muffin trays and other various training based enrichment activities! We have dedicated members of staff that will be getting back to you within 30 mins during working hours (9am-5pm) for anything you need. All photos and updates are sent from 11am onwards for the rest of the day.

All our dog playground equipment is hand crafted and designed to best suit the dog’s playing styles. This includes our ‘Two Fat Dachshunds’ Tudor pub in keeping with our next door neighbour Eton College! An area for relaxation with ‘pawsecco’ & ‘mulled whine’ at Christmas time with fro-yo and ice lollies in the summer…delicious.

All dogs will receive an express wash/dry with a brush and fluff and a quick first aid check upon leaving the premises to go home. We have an amazing dedicated team of first aiders, spa therapists including dog masseuses, groomers and de-matters who will be making sure every dog adheres to our ‘white sofa’ policy (going home clean, dry, pampered and relaxed…!)

We pride ourselves on giving the best possible care to all the dogs who come to us. To keep up with your dog’s progress we have an individual tailored weekly report card on top of the daily individual pictures and ‘pupdates’. You’ll see things like what their favourite moment of the week is, their most embarrassing moment (if any!), notable good or bad behaviour, anything they learnt and their favourite friend or activity for example!

We have three different daycare structures:-

1.       Saffy’s Puppy Academy – this includes training using positive reinforcement techniques balanced with firm boundaries that covers: general obedience, self control, lead walking, recall, sit-stay-down, safe structured socialisation with enrichment based activities as well as some desensitisation and an abundance of cuddles. They have lunchtime and several naps – just like human nursery!

2.       Teenage Bootcamp - similar to the puppy daycare, with stronger reinforced training and good mannered playing/socialisation and lunchtime breaks if needed with one nap or downtime.

3.       Adult –lots of socialisation and enriching brain games, with downtime whenever they would like it, or if needed.

If your dog is older, it is a more relaxed structure of the day with lots of downtime, with their days taken leisurely and at their pace.

Our collection time for daycare in west London is between 6.45-8.30am and drop off is between 3-4.30pm, subject to where you life and always traffic dependent. Our drivers will provide an eta the night before your booking between 4.30-6pm and will keep you up to date with any changes in your dog’s own individual Whatsapp group.

All photos and updates are sent from 10am onwards.

Saffy is Ria’s other dachshund, the other love of her life. She was a rescue girl from a puppy farm who was being used for breeding until the rescue charity stormed the place and saved the dogs. She has taken it upon herself to look after all the puppies that come into Colin & Co, giving them firm boundaries as well as adoring them.

In Saffy’s Puppy Academy there is a lovely healthy mixture of obedience training coupled with safe socialisation for puppies up to 6 months. This sets them up with the foundations to become a happy, calm, confident and polite dog. There will be at least one hour of 1-2-1 training each day they come, as well as group lessons, naps, lunchtime and very calm downtime also. You will receive updates from 11am onwards including photos and videos on their progress and instructional how-tos to keep up the good work at home. The most effective results are when you carry this on at home too.

You will get video and photo pup-dates and a graduation photo with certificate upon completion at 6 months old!

Being based out in the countryside we are spoiled for choice with beautiful places to walk.

We offer a two hour walk with our day care service at £15 extra per day, we have the options of riverside, woodland and meadow walks.

This service is only for fully grown dogs, subject to good behaviour. We are insured for 4 dogs per person so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Within our retreat we have a purpose-built dog spa.

We offer every aspect of grooming from a shampoo and blow-dry to a trim and the full works. Our spa is fitted with two grooming standard baths, hot water with massage heads and all the extras to make sure your pup comes home looking and smelling fantastic.

Grooming is a service that comes alongside Day Care, your dog will be collected from home and will have the opportunity to experience our normal day care service with the rest of the pack before or after their scheduled grooming appointment. We require at least two weeks’ notice for grooming or hand stripping bookings and can only be booked alongside our daycare service.

Our ‘Posh washes’ are from £20 and will vary depending on the type of coat and size of the dog. We use a specialised shampoo or scent of your choice and a choice of conditioners, depending on your dog’s coat. If your dog has rolled in poo or animal scent we will always provide photographic evidence so you can decide if you would like a posh wash or rinse for free. Please bear in mind this may not be as effective as a posh wash with our specialised fox poo shampoo.

‘The works’ spa day. This includes the daycare service, a 2 hour walk in the countryside, a 10 minute massage and a posh wash, all worth over £110. Plus, to top it all off, a pick and mix bag of local, organic and hypoallergenic treats to enjoy at home. Please contact us if you wish to extend this to a spa weekend.

‘Tidy up, de matt & all that!’ Just a basic trim around the face, paws, cut out any matts & hygiene trim with wash - from £55.
